Blue Buoy Swim School Community Honors and Associations
Blue Buoy and its family are active in and around our communities by attending events, and being involved in organizations that promote, and bring awareness to water safety, and promoting Blue Buoy’s teaching philosophy. As such, we attend a variety of events, and have received multiple honors for our continued efforts to prevent drowning, and promote water safety. The honors we have received and associations in which we are involved include:

U.S. Swim School Association – U.S. Swim School Association – Charter Member. Co-owner, Johnny Johnson is the Former President, Hall of Fame, and a Guiding Light recipient. Johnny & Cindy Johnson both received the USSSA Humanitarian Award in 2011 for community service and work in drowning prevention. |

Water Safety
“Swim lessons can develop the skills and experience to preserve the life of the potential victim. Learning to “live in the water” is a process that takes time. Don’t ever consider your child “water safe” or believe someone can “drown proof” your child in a short period of time. Lessons should emphasize proper behavior when in, on or around the water.”
